The Scarecrow Festival is a citywide
Scarecrow contest and celebration that
welcomes fall. This competition draws
entries from hundreds of classroom pupils,

Ross Barnett Reservoir
Madison County is home to this 33,000
acre reservoir that covers 40 parks and
recreation areas and is conveniently located
just east of the city of Madison. Madison

activities to engage in including boating,
water sports and fishing. The reservoir is
well stocked so take your rod and reel and
pull in a big catfish or a good-eating
crappie. Besides water activities, you can
go biking, hiking, take the family for a
